it comes with a plectra of modular systems that can be used in pieces or all together based on what you need,
and you can essetionally mix and match modular systems until you get exactly what you need for your intended game experience and design; all of this is replicated and made at the highest quality ive ever seen a set of systems be made at code quality wise.
Defiinitely can reccomend Hyper's asssets over many others with similiar systems, you wont find better quality functionality with such control and finesse anywhere else!

this is truly epic its worth every penny i learn so much and can be creative without making anything new and the discord is very helpfull im just a noob doing this because i wanted it since im a kid and its truly a dream and its very nice to now that there is a team that supports you in questions and also you know this team is working on the codes either so you have progress without doing stuff in this ,,directions´´ is truly nice

This is a framework with a bunch of systems to make a multiplayer survival game. It will save you a ton of time compared to trying to make your own, but do expect to go in and make some changes to tailor it to your project. Luckily this is pretty easy to do with how the systems are designed.
It's modular, so all of the systems are broken into different folders and actor components and use abstract classes to communicate with each other. It's all in blueprint, so you can dig through and figure out exactly how it's working without needing to open Visual Studio. The Discord is awesome, has many helpful people, and likes to share improvements and tweaks that they have made to the system.
It's not a AAA game, it's not a dedicated server host, it's not highly optimized C++ code, and it's up to you to make your game with the template. Buying this doesn't replace needing to know how to use Unreal Engine, but it'll fast-forward your project a couple of years by getting to build off of Eric's work. I think that's well worth the price, especially if you catch it on sale. There are also a ton of new packs being added, and even if they don't end up being included in this package, being able to easily add them to this system is a huge plus.

Hands down the best template on unreal's market place. It has everything you would need for a survival multiplayer game and is easily modifiable to your needs. This template is very clean and detailed with great documentation making your creation process much easier. I highly recommend this to anyone who's looking to get a jumpstart into professional game development. Rated 10 out of 5 stars!
How much time do you have?

This is a package of many sub systems for using in many types of games. It really comes down to this: how much time do you have to develope these systems yourself? Buying large packages like these can be a headache to sort through and figure out how to make it work, and these systems are for the basics, anything special to your vision you will have to do yourself. It comes free with an active Discord and community, and he is also offering a course to teach you how to make your own game. You will be hard pressed to find a better deal. Keep in mind, if game development was easy, everyone would be doing it. With this kit you will have a large leg up on all of your basics. If programming is just a hobby this isn't for you, if you are serious, you seriously need to consider making this purchase.

The value and quality of this package is so high that it's still worth it if you don't plan on using all of the systems. My team is creating an action roguelike without building, farming, chopping and crafting, but the systems for inventory, loot, equipment, combat, outlines, voice lines, footsteps, attributes, etc etc etc are still worth the full price of this pro package! Get it now to save a ton of money in the long run!

This is packs are well coded. And cover a lot of area. The discord is active.
The documentation leaves a lot to be desired in some places though. Of course there is the official tutorial series, at a whopping $300. That's ludicrous. It's also a multiplayer survival template, that has no real multiplayer examples. No server browser or lobby or anything like that. Not even in that expensive tutorial as far as I can tell. Some things are very well documented, others have very little. Experienced developers will be able to figure it out, but I felt this was important to note due to price, and that most of the reviews are 5 stars with no mention of this. And this will really matter to some people.
Overall, I'm happy with the pack. Not so happy with the trend to patreon and gated information. But even at full price, you are getting a lot of quality code.

I've worked at AAA studios that have less documentation and love than this asset. The support is top-tier and personable; I have to wait longer at the studios I work for to get a response through Discord channels. Games By Hyper is doing quality work for the game dev scene to help speed up the process and eliminate all the minutiae involved in producing a great product.

I own most of the Hyper modules or MST, and you have a solid base to build upon.
The Discord is active and friendly, got also some cool tutorials made by the members to expand your ideas/project.
When having a issue (i did a big one) they direct help you and try finding a solution, not all is Hyper releated, Epic could also do things wrong. (my case).
You get a big set of animations, items to get you started, pdf guides per module, as video's to help you get started.
Note this is not a game you buy but a framework to help you build your game.

I took some extra time to play around with the new updated version packaged together. I have really enjoyed the way the product is setup such as how the animbps work and how you add and edit weapons and attacks. It is also nice how the creator Hyper and other community members are in discord steadily helping each other find and understand the product better. I'm very happy with my purchase and what i have learned from it.

I've been using Games by Hyper products for a while now. What I like best is being able to customize everything to my taste. I find it so much easier to use Hyper's products as a starting point and then edit and customize from there. The menu / inventory visuals and meshes are entries in a data table, so to swap it out with what I want to use is just editing a line in a data table. I have tried other systems and I didn't find them as easy to work with as Hyper's.
MST Pro is an amazing starter project. Complete with menu, inventory, crafting, and so much more, it's a great base to leap off of to customize into your own project. It is very convenient to have so many of Hyper's products in one project, it makes updating much easier and the integration is already taken care of. Just create a project and start customizing. The community is truly wonderful. Lots of helpful people on Discord and an amazing group of devs.

I have been working in MST-Pro for almost a month now, and I strongly endorse this product. Its a very expansive and complex system, so anyone who buys it should allow themselves a couple of weeks to watch the youtube videos, read the documentation, and spend a little time on the forums; but once you get to know the system, see how it's organized, you'll find it one of the best, most useable systems on the market.
As an example, I was trying to expand the building system earlier today, and when I had finished setting up the part my first thought was "there's no way this is going to work on the first try; that seemed to simple. I've got to be missing something." -- turns out, it really was that straightforward.
The two things that really make the difference, though, are: 1) the developer is super responsive and super helpful. Among the best I've ever dealt with. And 2) the discord community is some of the most responsive and helpful I've ever dealt with, as well. Any time I've had questions -- and I've had many -- I've gotten a response in less than 24 hours (often in less than two hours).
I've been working on my game for nearly a year now, and if MST-Pro had been available a year ago, I could have saved myself 6 months, at least.
Excellent investment. It's the most expensive asset I own, but with the amount of time it's saving me, it's already paid for itself in the first month.
Well, well worth it. Highly recommend.

If you have spent any time looking at other systems it is clear that this system is the most robust and inclusive for features. The community is always there to help out. There is a learning curve to grasping everything that goes into this template, but that is expected. There is a ton of room for customization to fit your style of game. Possibilities are endless and you will not find a finer product out there. I have tried so many and they do not come close.

I look at assets like this template (and all of the other amazing Hyper modular assets) as a balancing act. How much time do they save me? It's one thing to consider how long it would take to produce a similar solution, that almost always comes out in favor of any asset you're looking to buy. The bigger question is how much pain is the asset going to introduce? How much time are you going to spend figuring out how to use it? The truth is, most assets on the Epic marketplace are poorly documented and supported, if they're documented and supported at all.
And this is where the Hyper product like this survival template REALLY shine! The developer is sharp as a scalpel and as friendly as a sunny summer day. There's an active and friendly community on discord, and the all of the products are designed to be integrated and are well documented. Will it be 100% of what you wanted? Probably not. We're all working on our own games with our own visions. But Hyper WILL save you time, lots and lots of time and may be what it takes to hoist that little ol' one man team over the finish line. In the end, all I can really say is that the Hyper modular assets have saved me, personally, a lot of time and effort and are, in my opinion, some of the very best assets on marketplace. For the money, you can't go wrong.

Extremely well thought out and implemeneted system that covers multiple stand alone systems that are also integrated for you. You can choose which systems you need in your game and integrate them reasonably easily if starting a new project.
The data driven design makes changing out meshes, interactables, and so forth really straight forward.
Really well documented and commented blueprints. Great dev support and community suppord via discord! I cannot emphasize enough how much this helps both new devs and even seasoned devs.
I see the Games By Hyper assets as an investment not simply a purchase as the quality is there, the support is there, the flexibility, usability and extendability is there.
Top shelf assets IMHO! Worth at least 4x their cost just in the time saved from having to design and implement your own survival framework.

I have been using Hyper assets for over a year now and can say I'm really happy with the quality and modularity of these assets. This Multiplayer Survival Template PRO combines most of the Hyper V2 assets and adds even more on top for a discounted bundle price!
These assets kickstarted my project and saved me years of work. The modular approach allowes you to cherry-pick which components / features you want to use and combine them without much effort. This allowed me to fully focus on the creativity part of making my game instead of spending years on the core modules and foundation.
Great job on the demo map, it feels smooth and polished :).
Note: I tried multiple survival assets on the marketplace, Hyper assets have by far the highest code quality and everything is documented and segmented clearly in different components, which makes it easy to read and understand.

I have tried many other products, including some that would be called direct competition. To the point of even being blamed as a copy. But I can tell you far from it, Hyper is not only not a copy of someone, his products stand out head and shoulders above the rest as the best you can get. In multiplayer if you enable camera lag and go on a moving platform, train, ship or whatever is moving, the character client side jitter if camera lag is enabled.

Yes! It work perfectly well in single player. It is even way more easy to do! Games like this are also from my framework and are single player.
And yes, I think it also is a great fit for horror games as a base. It is good to know that horror games require very specific immersions of which I do nothing (horror sounds, scare-jumps, etc) but I think the base can be used very easily for this.

Yes there are many!
Games that show it very specifically are things like this. You can join my Discord and check out the showcase page where a lot of different titles are showing of the work based on my assets ranging from hobbiest, to indies to larger studios. The larger studios will not mention it by the way and I am sure if I break confidentiality if I say which studios I know that are using my assets but I can guarantee you that also the top tier studios use assets like this (most likely for quick prototyping and view of reference)
However, in most higher quality games it is harder to spot. Think of games like Palworld, if you look well your can spot 10+ of different asset packs (including some of mine I believe or at least the same structure) but mostly Epic Games content and some CC0 in this example.

Yes, everything is fully gamepad compatible! It costs me so much work to make sure it works perfectly! I am very happy with the results. Even the radial menus work! The only thing that I did not implement is a gamepad keyboard. So when you have something that needs to be typed, no gamepad keyboard pops up.

If you want to compliment it with other systems, the skill level manager, and icon creator are a great addition.

Hello!
All components/modules are interchangeable, and should be doable for intermediate/advanced users. The inventory system is obviously a core system and is intertwined on a lot of places. I would not recommend it. It is not logical to do with such an architecture heavy module imo. But more loose systems like interaction, tree-cutting, rocks etc are fairly easy.
I have made an abstract video on how certain modules can be easily swapped and what the process would look like. Hope that helps to give some insight.

How hard will it be to replace those with destructible resources from another vendor on UEM? Or do you have lower demand versions available? I don't mind using another map, but the mining and harvesting are important to my goals.

The mining and harvesting logic are not demanding at all. The only thing that can be demanding is the mesh. You can change it very easy with any other mesh. Especially the rock is with a click on a button, the tree is also fairly easy but needs a couple of steps, but I explain those in detail here.

Lower Spec Systems

I am interested in utilizing this kit for a game that works even on lower-end systems. I built my main system in 2019, and it has a 2090 series card. I'm also really quite inexperienced with UE, although I have had a couple of courses in it for the basics. I see in your video that lumen and nanite could be problematic for me. How likely am I to be able to easily build a quality game with beautiful graphics using your kit given these factors? I saw in the video the suggestions, but as I don't really know how to perform those suggestions, I don't have any idea of what's actually involved and what's a realistic expectation.

All the code will function very well on lower end systems.
A beautiful scene is relative. A easy to render scene (good for low spec systems) can also be astonishing. But that is environmental and scene work.
The scenes are the only real thing to consider here for performance in your case. If you have a good scene which performs well, it is no problem at all.
However, all my visual example scenes are currently running for high end systems. But please note, this is just visual. If you would change your project settings for lower end systems (no nanite, no VSM, No lumen, etc) and you have a easy to run scene with your own meshes targetted for low end systems, my assets will work perfectly fine.

The marketplace does not allow for local prices as far as I know. So I need to set the base price for the whole world.
It is good to know that the starter is available for 199 dollars and in many cases it has a high discount. That might be more affordable for most. Anyone can upgrade in a later stage if they want to.
I know it may be hard to believe, but many of my clients say that the current price is way to low and they would be happy to pay five times more. They see the current price as a steal. It is good to know that If you convert the amount of work based on an hourly rate in USD prices, it is in the hundreds of thousands. So relatively it is cheap.
It may also be good to know that a large portion of my target audience are running large projects and my work saves them years of work and gives them the ability to get funding for their projects way more rapid than normal pipeline processes.

Changing animations is fairly easy. But the link you have sent are not only animations, it is a system with many dependencies. In this specific example I think it is better to ask the creator of the linked asset if they think it is easy to integrate. A system like that can be setup in many different ways. I can only say that mine are highly modular and adaptable, but things like equipping a weapon on their system with my inventory system probably need quite some work.
As a general note: Determining how easy migration and integration are isn't a straightforward 'yes' or 'no' answer. It depends on factors like
- your skills,
- system modularity,
- effort you're willing to invest, and more.
While we've worked to make integration and migration simple, game development complexities shouldn't be underestimated.
For example, a building system involves various aspects like interaction, inventory management, outlines, damage handling, etc.
Migrating with Hyper assets is often easier than using custom ones. We provide documentation, tutorials, and videos for Hyper product migration. However, these resources don't cover external systems; you'll need to handle that independently if needed.

Awesome! Glad you like it. I know the feeling of UE5 begin a game itself. I really like the game Factorio. Sometimes it feels a bit like I am building train stations and perfect flows.
I limit my discounts a lot. I do not think a sale of 50% will come soon. With special discounts with fixed rates of things like the holidays etc I will probably never do more than the minimum for the time being. Only when I am invited by Epic with a special sale that has a minimum of 50% I might do it but I do not expect such an invitation. This pack has about ~4k/5k hours of work in it (~3 years with multiple people and a lot of investment of work for hire for e.g. meshes, animations etc.) I think it is relatively already quite cheap.
It is good to know that my starter pack will be discounted a lot with the higher range. So it can always be good to try that one out! You can upgrade anytime to another tier.

World Partition Compatibility?

Reworking is always possible! But you would need to understand the locomotion system and how the layers work. Its based on Lyra

The systems are all fully replicated and support multiplayer in game, but no server or multiplayer player subsystem is built into it so you would need to add Steam or Epics subsystem plugin or build your own. It is good to know that we are working on an optional module to implement that.

lt is handled by data tables. If you have the skill, yes that code can be made to use a database but most use Excel and import the sheets into the DT

No, this is very game specific, not part of the system. The base framework uses Echo as an example. We might work on a custom character creator in the future as an optional module.

Yes all items can be dropped and picked up by others.

Let me first tell your that this system is fully multiplayer ready and working properly on a client/dedicated server model and is also tested like that.
Your MMO question is relative to what you see as an MMO. If you mean millions of players like WoW:
In regard to expectation management of developers that want to build an MMO: It is hard, and requires a lot of custom implementations. I made it as easy as possible but I do not support large-scale MMO by default since it most likely requires custom engine implementations and more. Multiple people in our community are doing a successful approach and are working on custom implementations like segmental replication and more. I think the most easy answer is: If you need to ask this
question, the answer will probably be not for you. If there are any other creators who say it is all possible and easy… They are most likely not telling the whole story!

Battle Royale is a very specific gamemode which is not included by default. Also, you probably want to have integrations like EOS.
I think this system could be a proper foundation for many types of game types, and also battle royale. But please do not underestimate the amount of work and skill required to make such a game. Game development is hard! I have made sure this foundation is as accessible as possible, and many different types of multiplayer and single player games van be build upon this.

Hello!
If you would like to migrate this to a fresh project the steps are:
- Update Project Settings on the target project (Plugins, Settings like stencil pass custom depth, physical surfaces, trace channels (presicely the same number etc)
- Migrate (while target project is closed)
- Make sure there is no conflicting logic with existing code. E.g. Enhanced input with same name by other systems.
It could be done very easily. However, if you are are less advanced you might experience some problems like if you not know that trace channels have specific numbering in project settings and that they need to be exact.
This project is massive. I would advise to use this project as a base. You also mention that your project is close to submission day. Congratz! I hope it goes well.

Disabling any module is always very easy. Any module can be disabled at anytime.
But obvious things can break if you do not watch out.
As an example: If you delete the interaction system you need to consider:
- How to interact with a pickup item
- How to interact with a vendor
- How to add resources to a ghost buildable
- How to interact with a cooking pot
If you delete/disable the interaction system, you will need to replace all of the things where interaction is used.
Another example:
Let's say you do not need the building system.
- You can just remove the building component from the character
- However, in the inventory, there where items which could be placed as a buildable from the inventory.
- This means you need to delete the inventory items which where linked to any buildable (since you don't need it)
But that would be about it for a system like building system.
I recommend to not delete files if you are not sure, but just remove components from your character which you don't use or intend to replace with your own code. The code has zero overhead. All meshes and textures which are not used can simply be deleted so save storage space.

How customizable are the recipes, out of the box? In one of your videos on youtube, we briefly saw a vendor selling scrolls that taught the player recipes like, for instance, how to build a shotgun.
My game starts with the player lacking the recipes for most things (including most build parts) and only learning how to build as they acquire more recipe books/scrolls. Out of the box, are build part recipes able to be toggled to learnable, and is the player set up where I can set the starting recipes that the player already knows, or will that require some blueprint customization on my part?
Amazing asset, currently playing around with the demo for MST Pro now. Very impressive, and I'm very hopeful that I'll be able to use MST Pro for my project. Based on what I'm seeing in the demo, and on the positive reviews you've already earned from existing customers, I'm very optimistic that this will meet my needs.

Hey Wayne,
Thank you for the kind words. The recipes are quite simple. Every item has a boolean "Can be Crafted" and also "Recipe is known by default". All the recipes that are known by default are included at player start. All the others needs to be "learned" via a scroll (just as an example). When learned, the craftable becomes available on every crafting station that it is assigned to (and also the player crafting). I think this should be a solid foundation to build upon.

I am quite sure it can be added easily if needed.
In the current situation, I do not have implemented a character customization system and I do not aim to within this template.
I do not have any assets to fill up a character customization system.
I might offer it as an optional module in the future. For now I think it fits more in a RPG Game Template.

Is this template fully replicated and set up for multiplayer? Also is it fully optimized for peak performance without being too heavy if someone were to create for instance an 8-16 player survival server?

Hello, Yes it is fully setup for multiplayer and highly optimized. I think an 8 tot 16 server should be no problem.
It obviously depends a bit on your dedicated server performance, location, client locations and overall network quality. But in general, yes!

First, congradulations. I can't imagine the work you put into this system. I actually think EPIC should buy this from you and make it part of the Engine. You have given an indie dev like me a complete template that is very well though-out, tailorable, integrated and such a timesaver. One recommendation, please add a Skill Tree. I need both the Attributes and Skills... I understand that you do not think a Skill Tree belongs in a Survival games but an RPGs... I know you read and listen to requests, so please add a Skill Tree. Question, is this in introductory price? Is the price going up in the future? Finally, well done Eric. I plan to buy, keep up the great work.

Yes, the whole idea of this template is to be able to use for any type of project. I have seen competitors not being as flexible as this. My products are really made with many game projects in mind from the foundation up. Therefore I think I really outcompete them based on:
- Top-Tier Modularity: (You can select only the components you need)
- High-Quality Organized Code (clear, well-structured code, designed for segmented functionality. No spaghetti code here!)
- Robust and Reliable (think of non-functional requirement areas such as: flexibility,maintainability, scalability, compatibility, usability, and performance. )
Skill Tree... Yes that is definitely on the planning! But not to be included in the default in the survival template. I think it is more a thing for an RPG template, in combination with an ability system, tech tree kind of thing and unlockables.
I will keep publishing separate products on the marketplace which people can choose without having to commit to a full template. And yes, they will be adaptable to other modules.
I do not aim to up the price at this moment. I would like to keep it as accessible as possible. That is why the starter tier is only 199 dollars and will probably be frequently discounted.

This one comes as a full experience. Feel free to download the MST Pro demo. What you see there is precisely what you get! Even though it is a full experience, all the modules are still individually explained and available.
And yes! I am happy to say it has full controller support! I tested it with an Xbox controller connected to my PC. All the UI elements are fully supported. So also the radial menu, inventory, building system etc etc. I am so happy about that!

First of all I would like to state that I strongly believe that this is the most modular, organized and robust multiplayer survival template available. I have fully tailored the systems so it is as adaptable as can be.
Determining how easy migration and integration isn’t a straightforward 'yes' or 'no' answer. It depends on factors
like
·Your skills,
·Target System modularity,
·Effort you're willing to invest, and more.
While we've worked to make integration and migration simple, game development complexities shouldn't be underestimated. For example, a building system involves various aspects like interaction, inventory management, outlines, damage handling, etc.
Migrating with Hyper assets is often easier than using custom ones. We provide documentation, tutorials, and videos for Hyper product migration.
However, these resources don't cover external systems; you'll need to handle that independently if needed. The documentation-and-tutorials channel gives insights, and I've ensured clear outlines for connections to other systems, like inventory calls, adaptable to your own systems.
In the support forums I am always happy to give pointers.
